Krukrustudio

 Lyubov Tareeva and Maxim Veselov, otherwise known as Lyuba and Max, are the very talented artisan couple behind Krukrustudio in Moscow, Russia. Their quite unique Collection of iconic shaped felt bags are marvels in both design and execution; indeed when we first saw their black upright piano bag, we had to pinch ourselves that it was real!

Each bag is made from high quality wool felt, is fully lined and, where needed, zipped and clasped. Krukrustudio`s motto of `It is not bags, it is love...` is highly apt given the quality of their work.

Krukrustudio came to life in January 2011 and was the result of the couple`s lifelong wish for a creative outlet and Max`s background as a qualified tailor. Their flair and imagination in taking iconic images and re-inventing them in a totally new felt format is inspirational and even Lyuba and Max are still amazed at some of the design ideas they come up with - 

`The whole process of creating is very inspiring -  from an idea, through the search for perfection and through to the actual finished product. Feedback is both inspiring and very important right from the beginning - it keeps us going through the hard and difficult phase of design and we also use the principles of classical art in maintaining our standards of quality`. As Krukrustudio has developed and grown, Lyuba and Max now work full-time at developing both their business and product range. Indeed, since the beginning of 2012 they have recruited their first seamstress to help with order fulfilment; the sign of a steadily growing and successful business. 

 Krukrustudio ship wordwide and customers can personalise their orders within reason - 

`We always try to consider customer`s wish in adding some personal touch to a bag. However, we prefer not to change the sizes and proportions of the bags themselves as it usually makes them less attractive. We will work with customers on any unusual, bespoke designs and we can also giftwrap purchases on request`. - Max
