I Heart Buttons

How to describe Lesa Simons of I Heart Buttons proved incredibly difficult - she's an artisan, her work is of an amazing quality but is she a florist, a button expert or an up-cycler of jewellery? But then we realised that Art doesn't fit neatly into a category box each time and Lesa is an artisan who takes all three elements and combines them brilliantly into her Button Bouquets.

These are something quite different and the fact that, unlike those lovely bouquets of real flowers bought in celebration, these will never fade.

 So, what is used to make these bouquets so very different? Well, obviously buttons! But then there are categories of buttons, which, until we met Lesa, we didn't even know existed. There are contemporary buttons, vintage buttons, glass buttons and ceramic buttons to name but a few. If there is a piece of family jewellery which is of great sentimental value, Lesa can incorporate it into the design of your bouquet which is a wonderful way of making a bespoke piece even more personal.

Each bouquet is finished with ribbon around the stems and a collar of your choice and for those commissioned Bridal Bouquets; they each come with a Sterling Silver I Heart Buttons Charm and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Lesa works closely with her customers to ensure that each commission is exactly how they would wish it to be, keeping them informed of progress via email with photos attached.
